- On August 23, 2000 a Gulf Air Airbus A320 crashed after taking off from Cairo leaving all 143 passengers dead.

- On November 12, 2001 Airbus A300 belonging to American Airlines crashed into New York borough killing 265 people. The plane was bound to Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic.
- On November 23, 2003 Airbus A300B4-203F belonging to DHL Aviation crashed near Baghdad due to missile attack.
- On June 9, 2005 Airbus A 330 belonging to Aer Lingus crashed at Logan International Airport due to an ATC error.
- On August 2, 2005 Air France Airbus crashed while landing at Pearson International Airport in Toronto due to a storm. All passengers and crew were rescued.
- On May 3, 2006 an Airbus A320 belonging to American Airline Armavia crashed in the Black Sea while landing at the Russian seaside resort Sochi. The crash killed all 113 passengers.
- On July 9, 2006 Airbus A310 belonging to Sibir Airlines crashed while going to Siberia killing 122 passengers. The rest 73 passengers could be rescued.
