Skyking Airlines is the airline based in the Turks and Caicos Islands which is known as TCI. The Skyking Airlines was founded during the 1990's. Since then onwards the airlines has been offering excellent services to the people. The main hub of the Skyking Airlines is the Providenciales International Airport and the secondary hub of the airlines is the Grand Turk International Airport. The Parent company of the Skyking Airlines is Paradise TCI Ltd. Some of the focus cities in which you will find this airlines are Puerto Plata, Santiago, Cap Haitien, Port au Prince, Nassau as well as Kingston. Some of the Key people in running this airlines are Brian Lightbourne - COO, Harold Williams - Director Flight Operations and Eduardo Lange - Engineering Director. The fleet size is 7 and the number of destinations it covers is 6.
The history of Skyking Airlines is very interesting to note. It was in December 1994 that two TCI entrepreneurs - Harold Charles and John Shearer, joined forces. They put together a hangar facility and 2 small piston-engine aircraft to form a small charter airline called the TCI SkyKing Ltd.
| Later on they flew their first revenue flight within the domestic regions of Turks and Caicos Islands in January 1995. From then onwards, a humble beginning the company starting extremely fast. Within a few short years the destinations grew and also did the aircraft used by the company. In 1996 the scheduled services began for the Skyking Airlines. They started using a mixed fleet of eight comprising of C400/Piper 23 aircraft, and then later on a Shorts 360 aircraft was added.

Slowly and slowly the scheduled services grew and along with it it the Skyking Airlines also began to streamline the type of aircraft being used. It also increased the quality, reliability and comfort by introducing the Beechcraft 1900C's, these aircraft which finally replaced all other types and the D-model was introduced in the early 2000's to further increase the quality of their services. The Services offered by the Skyking Airlines Grand Turk, South Caicos, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, Providenciales as well as Santiago (DR). The Fleets available with Skyking Airlines include 5 Beechcraft 1900 2 x model C & 2 x model D SkyKing TCA picture at STI and 2 ATR-42.
