Ada Air is one of the popular airlines operating from Albania. The airline was founded in the year 1991 and had the Tirana International Airport as its main base. The airline offered international flights to and from Albania.
History of Ada Air
The Albanian airline was founded in the year 1991. It was on the 3rd of February, 1992 that the airline became fully operational. On the 5th of February, 1992 the airline flew scheduled flights to the city of Bari in Italy. The airline became a member of the prestigious IATA association on the 25th of May, 1992. Ada Air flew flights to some of the major destinations in and around Europe. Later on some other locations around the world were added. Fifty percent of the ownership of the airline lay with the individual named Julien Roche who was the founder and vice-president of the airline. The other 50% of the ownership lay with the president and founder of Ada Air, Marsel Skendo.
Destinations of Ada Air
The Ada Air airlines used to fly scheduled flights to the European destinations in Greece, Italy, Serbia and Republic of Macedonia. It also offered charter flight services in various parts of the Balkan region and Europe. Currently, it offers daily flights between the Italian city of Bari and the Albanian city of Tirana. The chartered flights offered by the airline are quite popular with the passengers. The airline has plans to boost its operations as far as the flight destinations are concerned.

Fleet of Ada Air
The Ada Air airline has a well maintained and equipped fleet of contemporary aircrafts. Some of the reputed aircrafts operated by the airline include E110, YK40, FK28, AN12, ATR4, DHC8, L410, YK42, TU34 and TU54. The aircrafts which the airline currently uses for its Bari-Tirana flights are Embraer EMB 110P2 Bandeirante and Fokker F100. The Fokker F100 was obtained by the airline on the basis of a lease contract from Montenegro Airlines. The crew which operates on the Fokker F100 also belongs to Montenegro Airlines. The flights of Ada Air boast of excellent services and facilities for the passengers to enjoy.
