Chisinau International Airport is the primary base of Moldavian Airlines. The air operator certificate of Moldavian Airlines allows it to carry freights, mails and passengers.
Founded on the 26th of July in 1994, Moldavian Airlines began operating its flights on the 19th of August in 1994. The first regularly scheduled flights operated by it were between Moscow and Chisinau whereas the first flights that were operated by it on a daily basis were to the Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. It assisted the passengers of Moldova in availing instant and outstanding services of air travel to the different regions of Siberia, the Domodedovo Airport being then popular for the flights bound for Siberia.

The Yak also contained the authentic logo, green on white, of Moldavian Airlines on its fins. Currently it is looking for solutions of profits on routes with the help of a price policy that is adaptable and enhancing its services.
