Kuwait is one of the middle east Asian countries. This country is famous for its rich reserve of natural oil. The State of Kuwait popularly known as Kuwait is country ruled by constitutional monarchy. Kuwait is encircled by Iraq on the north. The largest member of the Arab world Saudi Arabia lies on the south of Kuwait. A great part of this country in the middle east is covered by desert. Very little elevation is found on the terrain of Kuwait. This middle east Asian country has nine islands located in the neighborhood of its mainland. The biggest of all these islands is Bubiyan Island. This island in Kuwait is linked with the mainland of the country by a concrete bridge. Economy of Kuwait
Economy of this Gulf country is heavily dependent upon the oil exploration industry. Many other industries which need the support of oil exploration sector have also been developed in many parts of this country. Petroleum and Petrochemical industries have flourished in this gulf country to a great extent. Petroleum and petrochemical industries contribute at least 80% of the total government income of Kuwait. These two sectors also contribute at least 95% of the export revenue earned by the government of Kuwait. Other then petroleum and petrochemicals other industries recently flourished in this middle east Asian country include financial services, construction and also ship building industry.
Kuwait is almost entirely dependent on the export of food as the agriculture is almost impossible in this country. But fishing is an important sector in Kuwait. Fishermen of Kuwait catch fish in the Persian
Gulf. Kuwait even imports water as natural sources of water in this gulf country is very limited. Water
collected from water can not be drunk without distillation.
