Aeromexico |
AeroMexico is the largest airlines of Mexico. AeroMexico has its hubs in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Hermosillo. The airline is known to offer more than 400 daily flights alone and 750 flights together with Aerolitoral which is also known as AeroMexico Express. The flights are available to 63 destinations in Mexico, North America, South America as well as Europe.
Baggage allowance is also an important part of the AeroMexico. On domestic economy flights, the baggage allowance is approximately 55lbs. This may again vary from time to time and may also change. On international flights the allowance for two pieces of baggage is up to 140lbs which may also change. This is in case of baggage whose linear dimensions (length + width + height) together do not exceed 107 inches (except for flights to Brazil). The Carry-on baggage is limited to one piece which also should not exceed 45 linear inches and it can be stowed under the seat or in the overhead compartment. Carry-on baggage must remain in the passenger's custody at all times. There are baggage-measuring facilities available at check-in desks.
| The Child fares is also an important part of AeroMexico as well. The infants under two years old who use a seat, and children between age two and 11, pay 67 per cent of the adult fare. The first infant under two seated on the lap of an adult travels free; additional infants are charged 67 per cent of an adult fare and are entitled to a seat. There are Senior fares available with the Aeromexico. You will find a policy available to INSEN (senior citizens' registration) card holders in Mexico. The Senior citizens aged 60 or older will be required to pay 90 per cent of standard fares. Pet travel is also a part of the Aeromexico.

You may only travel with dogs, cats, and small caged birds, which require a special permit from the authorities, vaccinations as well as corresponding permits. They do not count toward the free baggage allowance and are only accepted when they are kept in a cage, stowed in the baggage hold. There are separate costs for them which you need to bear.
One of the important things for AeroMexico is the Check-in time. In case of international flights you must check in two hours earlier to the scheduled departure. For flights within Mexico, the passengers with boarding pass and without any type of baggage may check-in 30 minutes before the flight departs. In case if passengers have baggages the check-in is 60 minutes prior to the flight departs. Passengers without a boarding pass can check-in using a kiosk or they can also check in at the check-in counter 60 minutes before the flight departs. This excludes airports in Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana, where passengers must arrive 90 minutes before the flight.
