Taxis, buses and cars are popular for travel in Aruba. The majority of the roads are paved, but in the island interior, some roads are not paved. Coastal areas usually have paved roads. Of the total road length of 800 km, 287 km are unpaved.
The government owned bus company is Arubus with 29 buses in service. Mini-buses are also popular. In downtown Oranjestad is the main Arubus station.
Airports in Aruba : Inspite of Aruba's location near the other islands of the Netherlands Antilles and Venezuela, crossings are not generally available. There is no public transport by the sea. So you will have have to go in for private boat (not popular) or take short plane flights from Queen Beatrix Airport.
The three ports or harbors are Barcadera, Oranjestad, and San Nicolas. San Nicolaas and Barcadera are majorly industrial and oil ports.
